You Will Need:

A plain white card (C6)
- 1 blue faux heart-shaped gem
- Embossing heat tool
- 'Silver Tinsel' embossing powder
- Clear embossing pen
- A pencil & ruler
- Carbon paper (optional)
Steps For Making This Valentine Card Idea
- Write 'b mine' in pencil, in the center of the
top half of your card. Use your pencil as lightly as possible.
Tip: You can write the phrase in any style you wish. But if you prefer not to use your own handwriting style, type out 'b mine' in Word (or equivalent software), and select a suitable font. Resize the phrase accordingly, print it out, and then use carbon paper to transfer the font design onto your card.
- With the ruler, draw a line under your phrase.
- Embossing: You will probably need to emboss at least 2 layers onto the design. Draw over the design with your clear embossing pen in stages so that you can sprinkle on the embossing powder before the ink dries. Use the silver tinsel embossing powder and your embossing heat tool to emboss the design as you go along.
- Stick on the faux heart-shaped gem.
