Here are the instructions for this Valentine card idea...
Difficulty Level: An intermediate Valentine card idea.
To make this card you will need the printable Sweetie Pie Bumper-Sized eKit, which can be found here...
You Will Need:
- A white square card blank
- Sheets 1 and 3 from folder '11-4uonval', and sheet 12 from folder '25-u-r-gorge', all from the Printable Sweetie Pie Bumper-Sized Card Making Kit here...
- Cutting mat, crafting knife, ruler, scissors
- Double-sided tape
- Double-sided 3D tape
- Craft Glue
- Paper piercer
- Flower Punch
- Pink ink pad
- 1 pink flower
- 4 white buttons
- 1 white brad
- 1 metal filigree
- Pink organza ribbon
- Stickles (glitter glue) in pink
Valentine Card Idea
Instructions...
- Print it out! Open up the Printable Sweetie Pie Bumper-Sized eKit [the
what?].
- Open up the '11-4uonval' folder and print out sheets 1 and 3.
- Open up the '25-u-r-gorge' folder and print out sheet 12.
- Cut it!
- Cut a piece from sheet 12 of the '25u-r-gorge' folder slightly smaller than your card blank.
- Cut out the 'For you on Valentines' sentiment from sheet 1 of the '4uonval' folder
- Stick It!
- Stick the pink paper from sheet 12 to the card using double sided-tape.
- Stick the sentiment on top of the pink paper in the center at an angle using double-sided 3D tape, this will raise the sentiment slightly.
- Punch It! Punch two flowers from the '4uonval' sheet 3.
- Ink It! Ink round the edges of the flowers with the pink ink pad.
- Stick It! Stick one punched flower on top of the other using a touch of craft glue making sure the flowers are rotated so you can see the petals of the flower below too.
- Attach It!
- Place the pink flower on top of the punched flowers. Using a paper piercer punch a small hole in the center, place the filigree on top and push the white brad through the center of the filigree.
- Attach the flower to the bottom right hand side of the card.
- Attach two buttons to the upper right hand side of the card and two buttons to the bottom left hand side of the card.
- Glitter It!
- Add the pink stickles or glitter glue to the swirls and little hearts on the sentiment.
- Add some stickles or glitter glue to the flowers.
- Add Ribbon! Make a bow with the organza ribbon and attach it to the top left corner of the sentiment.
And voila! The fresh, peachy Valentine card idea is complete!
