Stampin Up A Storm - Unisex Card Ideas

Golden Collage - Perfect For Friends

You Will Need:

• A plain white card (C6)
• Extra plain white card
• A selection of three different types of patterned handmade paper
• Gold stars
• Spray on glue (I used 3M's Spray Mount)
• 'Make new friends' stamp
• Clear or gold embossing ink pad
• Gold embossing powder
• Embossing heat tool
• PVC glue

1. Stampin' It Up! Let's get rubber stamping! Use your embossing ink pad to stamp the design onto your spare piece of card. Mine reads, 'Make new friends but keep the old, The new are silver the old are gold'. Sprinkle your gold embossing powder over the freshly stamped design and emboss using your heat tool.
2. Tear it! Cut out the embossed phrase by carefully tearing around the edges. This will be your center piece. Plan which of your other handmade patterned papers will overlap which, and where each will be positioned. Then cut out a block from each piece of handmade patterned paper by tearing it carefully by hand.
3. Spray-glue it! Spray the back of each of the pieces, including your stamped piece. Position into place onto the front of your folded card.
4. Stars! Apply 5 blobs of PVC glue to the right hand side of the collage, and stick a star on each blob.

This is a great little card idea that you can use for many different occasions and can give to people of all ages, young to old, male or female.

If you want to make your card more feminine, then change the backing papers and embossing powder to a more feminine colour. And the same applies for masculine cards too.

As you can imagine, as soon as you change the stamp image, and the backing papers, the card takes on a whole different vibe. So play around with this collage idea and have some fun stampin up a storm in card making heaven!
