Pretty Blue Birthday Card Making Idea

My pretty blue birthday card idea, using the Floral Doodle papers

This is my birthday card idea. First I printed the base card from the Floral Doodles ekit onto pastel blue linen card stock.

I scored it to make an A5 card. I then matted some more of the pastel blue linen card with the same design sheet from the Floral Doodles ekit.

I wrapped some ribbon around the matted card and paper and tied another piece of ribbon into a knot. I also attached a peel off flower onto a peice of cardstock, coloured it in, and glued it to the ribbon knot.

I then stamped the image, watercoloured it, and mounted it onto some matching blue card stock. Then I cut around with scalloped hedge scissors for decoration.

Christine this is lovely. It's amazing how the Floral Doodle papers can look so different depending on how a crafter uses them! This particular card is simply gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing, Christine!

Such a sweetie! The Floral Doodle Papers come into their own don't they? So versatile and easy to colour or use on card already coloured.
