Your Project Steps...
- Print it out! Open up the '02-ps-iloveu' folder in the Printable Sweetie Pie Bumper-Sized eKit [the what?]. Print sheets 1, 2, 4 and 9.
- Score and fold!
- Score at 10.5cm from the left of the card.
- Fold the card towards the middle and crease sharply with the bone folder.
- From this fold, score and fold at 15cm. This will now give you the offset gate-fold card.
- Cut it!
- Cut a piece from sheet 2 slightly smaller than the left hand side of the card.
- Cut a double heart shape from sheet 4.
- Cut 3 large pale green hearts and 1 large pink heart from sheet 2.
- Cut a large 'P.S I Love You' sentiment from sheet 1.
- Stick it!
- Stick the piece of green paper from sheet 2 to the left hand gate-fold using double-sided tape.
- Stick the silver border peel offs down each side of the green paper and down the right hand side of the smaller gate-fold.
- Stick the double heart shape to the silver mirri card and cut round the edge leaving a small border.
- Add ribbon! Wrap the white ribbon vertically round the hearts and tie a bow.
- Stick it!
- Stick the hearts using foam pads to the left hand side of the card so part of the hearts overlap the gate-fold. Ensure that there are no foam pads added to the part of the hearts that will overlap the fold.
- Stick the pink flowers and leaves to the top right hand side of the hearts with silicone glue.
- Stick the green and pink hearts to the card as shown using foam pads.
- Stick the sentiment to the bottom of the card using foam pads, ensuring there are no foam pads on the right hand side of the sentiment so that it can overlap the fold.
- Glitter it!
- Run the glue pen round the edge of the sentiment and sprinkle the pink glitter on top and shake off the excess.
- Add glitter to all the hearts as shown using the glue pen.
And there's your finished card! There are plenty of paper card making ideas on this web site but we think this one is a real delight! Your turn now!
