My Card Making Idea, 'Made with love' using 'Sweetie Pie' eKit

'Made with love' card idea using 'Sweetie Pie' eKit

I've made two cards for my husband, one for Valentine's Day and the other for our Wedding Anniversary a few days later.

They were inspired by Claire's brilliant printable 'Sweetie Pie' eKit and incorporated some rubber stamping techniques I had just learnt in my card making class.

I used the Sweetie Pie printable papers and greetings and I framed the backing paper and greetings with border peel-offs.

The 'Made with Love' message (also from the kit) was mounted on card and fixed with foam pads to the card.

To create the teddies and hearts I used the teddies from an acryllic stamp set (Clear Choice '30 Baby Toy Stamps') and a simple foam stamp heart. I used a VersaMark Watermark stamp pad to stamp the images onto brown card and Heat It Up 'Seafoam White' embossing powder and then applied the heat gun teds and hearts.

I used Sakura gel pens, red, gold and silver to highlight parts of the teddies and the hearts. After cutting out the teddy bears and hearts I fixed them to the cards using foam pads.

A VERY wordy description as I am just a beginner.

Julia! That description was fab! :0)

It's so much easier for us all to follow when crafters give us as much information as possible, so on behalf of everyone, I thank you for taking the time to tell us how to make your card.

It's sooooo great to see the Sweetie Pie ekit being used in this card design!
