My Card Idea Using A Forever Friends Image
I used a paper from the Floral Doodle eKit to make this card idea...
This was a Birthday Card for a work Colleage.
My inspiration came from this site, the Floral Doodle papers (free when you subscribe to the free Newsletter here), and the excellent video for heat embossing (only available to Newsletter subscribers). I have never been able to master heat embossing until now, so THANKYOU!
I used a blue card and the 'X Cut' corner punch to round the corners. I printed out Floral Doodle sheet #03 and cut out a square 1cm smaller than the card. I then measured in 2cm from the edge of the Floral Doodle paper and cut out the center of the paper to leave a frame. I rounded the paper with the 'X Cut' corner punch tool.
I stamped the Forever Friend's image onto the center of my card with an 'Ink it up' pigment stamp pad. I then sprinkled Gold embossing powder onto it, shook off the excess, and then heated the image with a heat tool.
I glued the Floral Doodle paper frame around the embossed image. Then I positioned 'Happy Birthday', flower and butterfly stickers onto the frame.
Finally, I coloured the bear and flowers with Whispers Strokes pens.
