'Made with Love' Valentine Cards
This was another card that I made for my husband (I made two - one for Valentine's Day and the other for our Wedding Anniversary a few days later).
My card making ideas were inspired by Making-Handmade-Cards's brilliant'Sweetie Pie' eKit and incorporated some rubber stamping techniques I had just learned in my card making class.
I printed out a backing paper and a 'Made With Love' greeting from the 'Sweetie Pie' eKit. Then I framed the backing paper and greeting with border peel-offs.
The 'Made with Love' message was mounted on card and fixed with foam pads to the card. To create the teddy and hearts I stamped a teddy image (from an acryllic stamp set) and a simple foam stamp heart. I used a VersaMark Watermark stamp pad to stamp the images onto brown card, sprinkled over some white embossing powder and then applied the heat gun to the teddy and hearts.
I used Sakura gel pens (red, gold and silver) to highlight parts of the teddy and the hearts. After cutting out the teddy and hearts I fixed them to the cards using foam pads.
This is a very wordy description as I am just a beginner!

Thanks Julia for another fab card making idea. I so love seeing the Sweetie Pie papers being used! Did your hubby like the card?
Your detailed description is fabulous. I always encourage everyone to provide as much detail as possible. That way it's easier for others to follow.
Great job Julia. Thanks for sharing!
