Kids Printable Halloween Cards
A Big Ol' Pumpkin!
If you're looking for printable Halloween cards for kids, then how about this card making idea...
It's a fun card of a 'Jack-o'-Lantern'!
Don't worry if you're artistically challenged... we've taken all the work out by providing you with the printable pumpkin image in our E-Kit (please see below) to make your card making a snap! You don't even have to draw the pumpkin or color it in!
Difficulty Level: Beginner (optional: knowledge of embossing needed)
To make this card you will need the pumpkin image, which can be found in our Printable Halloween Card Making Kit here...
You Will Need:
- A plain folded black card (C6)
- The large pumpkin image from the Printable Halloween Card Making Kit here...
- Craft knife or scissors
- Spare card
- Spray on glue (I used 3M's Spray Mount)
- Clear embossing pen
- Holographic embossing powder
- Foam squares
How To Make Kids' Printable Halloween Cards...
- Print it out! Open up the Halloween Card-Making E-kit [the what?] and print out the page that contains the pumpkin image.
- Spray-glue it! Spray glue the pumpkin sheet onto some card.
- Cut it out! Carefully cut out one large pumpkin from your print-out.
- Emboss it! [You can't actually see it in the picture but the pumpkin's eyes, nose and mouth are actually embossed!] Color in the pumpkin's eyes, nose and mouth with your embossing pen in stages, so that you can sprinkle on the holographic embossing powder before the ink dries. Use the holographic embossing powder and your embossing heat tool to emboss the design onto your paper as you go along.
- Foam squares! Fix some foam squares to the underside of the pumpkin cut-out and stick into place.
Tip: You can skip this step if you prefer to print the pumpkin sheet directly onto card instead of paper.
And voila! The kids printable halloween card idea comes to life! And...
