Another one of my favourite ideas for handmade Christmas cards!

This beautiful Christmas card making idea is really easy to make, yet it looks so smart and downright posh!

This handmade card idea uses skeleton leaves and plum ribbon, on a plum-colored backing of lyrics from the popular Christmas carol, Jingle Bells. It's truly stunning and very contemporary. Great if you want to make a good impression or show off your crafting ingenuity!

To make this cool Christmas card making idea you will need the plum 'Jingle Bells' lyrics backing paper, which can be found in our Printable Christmas Card Making Kit here...

1. Print it out! Open up the Printable Christmas Card Making Kit [the what?] and print out the plum 'Jingle Bells' lyrics backing paper.
2. Spray glue it! Spray glue the front of your card. I used 3M's Spray Mount glue.
3. Cut and tear it! From the plum 'Jingle Bells' lyrics backing paper, cut out a rectangle that's slightly larger than the front of your card. Stick it to the front and then flip your card over and trim away the excess backing paper with a craft knife.
4. Add ribbon! Trim a length of plum colored ribbon so that it's slightly longer than the height of the card. Fix the ribbon vertically in the center of your card. Tuck and stick the ribbon ends over the edges of the card.
5. Spray glue it! Spray glue the back of the skeleton leaves and then fix them into place onto the front of your card.

And voila! Easy! You can make plenty more ideas for handmade Christmas cards from this one design. Change the backing paper and ribbon colors for totally different looks.
