Pink 'N' Fluffy Homemade Card Ideas

A Fluffy Pink Marabou Design

You Will Need:

• A plain folded white card (C6)
• Baby pink glitter paper
• Small strips of baby pink mulberry paper (handtorn along one side)
• Baby pink marabou trimming (card width)
• Spray on glue (I used 3M's Spray Mount and 3M's Craft Spray Glue)
• PVC glue
• Scissors

1. Cut: Cut 2 rectangles of pink glitter paper. The width should be the width of your card. The height can be as thin or as high as you wish. In the example, the pink glitter paper pieces are approximately one third of the height of the card.
2. Spray glue: Spray glue the back of the two pieces of pink glitter paper and stick them onto the top and bottom of your card. I used 3m's Spray Mount glue.
3. Glue strips: You now need to glue your strips of mulberry paper just below the bottom edge of the top pink glitter rectangle, and just above the top edge of the bottom pink glitter rectangle. Use the PVC glue for this step. In each case, make sure one of your strips overlaps the edge of the pink glitter rectangle.

Tip: I found that the design looks most attractive when you place the strips in a layered fashion slightly on the diagonal.

4. Glue marabou trimming: Add a squiggle of glue across the remaining central space of your card and position the strip of baby pink marabou trimming in to place. Let the glue dry.
