Simple & Easy Home Made Card Ideas
Purple Glitter 'Diva'
A striking yet very simple home made card idea. This is an easy and funky greeting card design that's perfect for the 'diva' in your life.
You don't have to stick to the same word either. This home made card idea wil hopefully give you the inspiration to use other words and font styles, to create your own striking creation!

You Will Need:

A plain white card (C6)
- Purple glitter glue
- Carbon paper
- A pen
Steps For Making This Home Made Card Idea ...
- On your computer: Open a word processing package up (like Word) and type out 'diva'. Select a font you like - I used a handwriting style font. Adjust the size of the font (so that it will fit on your card with enough space either side) and then print it out.
- Transfer: Get your card and place the carbon paper on top of it (face down). Then place your 'diva' print-out over the top. Make sure it's positioned correctly on the card and then draw over the 'diva' word with a pen. Alternatively, you can just copy the font style (freehand) onto your card with a pencil.
- Glitter glue: Carefully trace over the word on your card with purple glitter glue. Apply a thin layer of glitter glue, wait for it to dry, and touch up with a second layer if need be.
- Let it dry.
Tip: Don't like the fonts on your computer? Download some fonts and install them in the 'Fonts' folder in your 'Control Panel' (Windows).
