Ideas For Personalizing Free Halloween Cards Printables For Kids

  • Color it in! Use felt tips, coloring pencils, glitter, glitter glue, chalk... add lots of colour to make this witch look extra spooky for Halloween! And hey - why stick to conventional colors - does she really have to have a black cloak???
  • To make her look extra spooky, color in her eyes with a thin (clear) embossing pen, and emboss with silver embossing powder.*
  • Print out two copies of the witch and carefully cut the witch out from one of the copies. Colour both witches in, and mount the cut-out on top of the other card, with a few foam squares, to create a cool 3D effect.*
  • Add emphasis to the 'Happy Halloween' phrase by writing over it with a thin clear (or green) embossing pen, and emboss with sparkly green embossing powder.*

* Adults should supervise as embossing tool can get very hot. It's best that adults handle the heat tool if the child is very young. The same applies to using scissors.

  2. Access Your Free Printable Card: Once you've subscribed, you'll be emailed access details to the free printable cards section. Click on the card you want to print out. You'll be taken to a web page that contains the printable card.
  3. Add Paper Or Card: Put some paper or card into your printer. I prefer to use white, thin printable card. You can probably buy thin printable card from your local office supplies shop.
  4. Print: Print the page (if you wish to print a number of cards, change the number of copies you require in the print screen command window).
  5. Trim: Trim by following the border of the card. You can use scissors, but I prefer to use a guillotine to get straight, smooth, consistent edges.
  6. Fold: Fold along the central line. I like to use a bone paper folder (a plastic one is okay too) because it makes sharper creases.

And voila! You can make endless Halloween Cards with this free printable card. And of course if you add a different personal touch to each card, then each printable Halloween card will be unique! Great for kids to get creative!

Have fun!
