Homemade Card Making Idea For Wedding

Embossed Silver Hearts

• A plain white card (C6)
• Embossing heat tool
• 2 embossing powders : holographic and silver tinsel
• Clear embossing pen
• A pencil & ruler

Steps For Making This Homemade Card Making Idea For Weddings

1. Draw a long rectangle in the centre of your card. Use your pencil as lightly as possible. You can make it as wide and as tall as you wish. I made mine approximately 4.3cm by 8.9cm.
2. Draw a smaller rectangle inside your first rectangle. This will be the thick border.
3. Now lightly draw 6 hearts. Make sure there is a full heart slightly off-center, and then draw the rest of the hearts: 3 larger hearts (these will be clear) and two smaller hearts. These 5 hearts will be partially drawn because they will be cut off by the border. If you are unsure, just follow the design of the card pictured above.
4. Embossing: this is the time-consuming part because you will need to emboss several layers onto your design. Draw over your design with your clear embossing pen in stages so that you can sprinkle on the embossing powder before the ink dries:
   • Use the holographic embossing powder first to emboss 3 of the larger hearts.
   • Use the silver tinsel embossing powder to emboss the 3 remaining hearts, and then the border.
