To make this card you will need the blue-backed Christmas tree image, which can be found in our Printable Christmas Card Making Kit here...

You Will Need:

• A plain white folded card (C6)
• The blue-backed Christmas tree image from the Printable Christmas Card Making Kit here...
• 2 dark green heart-shaped and 3 light green star-shaped gems (if you don't have gems, just use glitter or gel pens to make hearts and star shapes instead)
• Spray on glue (I used 3M's Spray Mount)
• PVC glue
• Holographic micro-glitter

1. Print it out! Open up the Printable Christmas Card Making Kit [the what?] and print out the blue-backed Christmas tree image.
2. Tear it!
   1. Carefully tear along the inner edges of the blue design, leaving approximately 1cm of the outer light blue border. You'll be left with a hand-torn blue rectangle with the Christmas tree image in the center.
   2. Tear the left and right sides of the hand-torn rectangle, so that each strip is approximately 1cm wide.
3. Spray glue it! Spray glue the back of the blue strips and the tree image. Fix the larger piece (with the Christmas tree) in a central position, near the top of your card. Then fix the strips to the left and right sides of the Christmas tree image, making sure their edges slightly overlap onto the main blue rectangle.
4. PVC glue it! Next we need to make the tinsel effect. Carefully draw four lines of glue on your Christmas tree, to resemble tinsel wrapped around the tree. One line should be along the bottom edge of the tree and the top line should be just below the top, leaving enough room for the star gem. The other two lines should be of equal distance inbetween.
5. Glitter it! Sprinkle some of the holographic glitter over the glue (make sure you place a folded piece of scrap paper underneath, to catch the excess glitter when you shake it off). Tap off the excess glitter and return to the pot. Leave to dry.
6. Add gems! Add a star gem on top of the tree and fix the remaining 4 gems on the right hand side of your card.

And voila! That's how easy it is to make your own Christmas card crafts!
