Card Making Idea For Men And Boys - Have a Kicktastic Day!

The card was made for a boy I work with at school who is fottball crazy!

I have used a selection of papers from Funky Fairys Papercrafts "Boys and Girls" downloadable paper kit. I mounted one of the backing papers onto an A5 card blank, chalking around the edges.

I then used a topper from the "Boys Images Kit" (again from Funky Fairys Papercrafts) and carefully cut away the doodled border leaving the football image, which I have mounted onto a white piece of card with chalked edges. The border was stuck to another piece of background paper and using a craft knife I cut around the frame in a "free hand" manner ! On the reverse of this new frame, I placed 3D foam pads.

Using the same backing paper that I mounted the doodled frame onto, I made to grass strips, gently chalking the edges of the grass. I layered the grass into 2 rows directly onto my card balnk and finished them off with a doodled border. 

Taking the image that I had put aside, I stuck 2 layers of the grass under the image and then the frame was then placed around the image and on top of the grass. I carefully placed this framed topper onto my card. I doodled a football and added this to one corner of the card, decorating with some more grass! The sentiment was printed on the computer and cut out using a circle punch. It was placed on the outer edge of the card and further doodled flourish was added.
