Blue Card Making Idea Using Floral Doodle Papers

Here is my card idea using the blue and white printed paper from the Floral Doodle eKit.

This card making idea was initially a 'Get Well Soon' card, but could suit any occasion.

Materials used:
- 1 plain white card
- Blue Floral paper from the Floral Doodle book
- 3 extra shades of blue paper
- 2 blue beads
- Kindy Glitz
- 3 sizes of flower punches - punch a variety of sizes using the blue shades of paper
- Foam squares to give some of the flowers a 3D look

Lay the 2 darker + floral paper on the card first to get an idea of the desired layer effect, then slowly and carefully tear the top two sheets of paper one at a time.

Ensure you place your free hand close to the ripping paper to help control it and ensure your rip your paper face up and towards you so you can get the rough ripped edge which helps with the effect.

Once papers are torn and glued in place, decorate with extra flowers using the lighter 2 shades.

Use 2-3 foam squares to lift a few of the flowers off the page. Again layer some of the various sizes of flowers for effect. Finally place beads and glitter for finishing touches.

Easy and very pretty.

I loved this paper from the printable Floral Doodle eKit, because it looks like it has been sketched and goes with so many colours. I have used it many times already.

Also see my other submission called 'Pink Shoes'.

Thanks Claire for the wonderful freebees!

Lovely Card Idea!

You're most welcome! I'm so glad you like the printable papers. :0)

This card making idea is great because it's so simple. Simple cards are often the most stunning, I find. And this idea is no exception. What's cool is that you could completely change the 'look' when you change the papers.

Congrats on a fab design! :0)
