Difficulty Level: Beginner (a bit fiddly)
You Will Need:
- A plain folded white card (C6)
- Baby pink mulberry paper
- 1 pink heart-shaped faux gem
- Spray on glue (I used 3M's Spray Mount Glue)
- PVC glue
- A ruler and pencil
Steps For Making This Baby Card Making Greeting Idea
- Measure: How tall and how wide is your heart shaped gem? Your piece of mulberry paper will need to be ever so slightly larger than the size of your heart shaped gem. Lightly draw the relevant sized rectangle (or square - depending on the dimensions of your gem) onto the back of your mulberry paper. Mine were squares. You need to draw three of these.
- Tear: Carefully tear the edges of your rectangles / squares for a 'hand-torn' look. This bit is very fiddly, so you might need a few tries before you get 3 perfect hand-torn squares/rectangles.
- Spray glue: Gently spray glue the hand-torn paper pieces (make sure they don't fly off!), and stick them into place, in the upper third of the front of your folded card. I used 3m's Spray Mount glue.
- PVC Glue: Add a blob of PVC glue to the back of your heart-shaped faux gem and stick it onto the middle mulberry paper square. Leave to dry.
