Baby Card Idea - Cute as a Button
I just recently had my third baby boy and decided to make handmade thank you cards. This card could be used for any baby related events.

First I used a pre-formed white card and envelope. I then cut the circle paper to fit and glued it down. I used my scrapboss to emboss the buttons on the envelope and 'cute as a button' on the green paper. I sewed the buttons to the paper and added a ribbon. I then mounted all the little papers to the card.

Awwww, Christine this card idea really is cute! I love using buttons in paper crafts. There's something really tactile about them isn't there?

Thanks so much for sharing. You certainly have a flair for making cards! :0)
It's exactly as they title says - Cute as a button!

This is quite an unusual card for a baby. Love the colours and the retro styling. I wouldn't have thought to use retro papers in a baby design, but it works very well. The buttons add that nice touch.

Very well done Christine.

I loved the card! Well done for finding the time to make all your thank you cards for your third baby boy's gifts. I like the way the card and envelope coordinate, the embossed buttons on the envelope and the buttons on the card - a clever, colourful design.
What a cute card

I love looking at these cards. My cards are so boring compared to these.

Has anyone thought of re-cycling the front page after use? Fro example, I'd stick the front page of your baby card to a new card and then it would have the message and the name of the new person inside.
