The 'Get Stuck In' Section
**This section is completely optional - you don't have to get involved in this section at all if you prefer not to.**
Many of us card makers really like to get involved and see what everyone else is doing. So this is what the 'Get Stuck In' section is all about. This is your Club, so we really want you to take part and have fun!
There's
an on-going Craft Room Competition where you can show
us where you craft, whether it's just an area or corner of a room, or
an actual room itself. It doesn't have to be a craft room, it can just
be a craft area. Every month we'll feature one of the entries we've
received, in the Club Portal. And if you get featured, we will
give you a £10 [GBP] voucher that you can use in the eShop!
There's
also a fab Card Challenge Of The Month...
Every month, our Official Designers will post a fun card making challenge for Club members to try, just for fun. It's yet another way to get inspiration and see what other members are doing.
Of course, this is all completely optional so if you don't want to take part, that's absolutely fine. But if you do want to take part then you're most welcome to! The following month there will be a new card challenge and you'll also be able to see some of the best entries from the previous card challenge.
Suggestion Box
There's also a useful suggestion box. If you have any suggestions at all, then this is the place to go!
Now this could be a topic for a video tutorial (for example, maybe you want to learn a new technique that you'd like us to show you). Or maybe you'd like us to show you how to make a particular card that you've seen in the Club portal but you want a video version of it. You can even make suggestions for themes for new eKits! We consider all suggestions.
The Suggestion Box is there to make sure Club and eShop is providing you with what you want. We can't cater for every individual but the Suggestion Box is there so that we can make sure we're providing content that the majority of members want.
It means we're always listening to Club members feedback and suggestions.
So you have an opportunity to help 'steer the ship'. This means you're more likely to be getting content you really want.
It's like having a direct line to Claire, the founder of Making Handmade Cards. That's important because, now that Making Handmade Cards has become so big, Claire is unfortunately no longer available for one-to-ones. But if enough people ask for the same thing, we'll consider providing it via the Club or eShop.
You can make suggestions for many things, but let's say you make a suggestion for an eKit, and enough Club members put in that request, so we go create it and put it in the eShop. That's your way of being able to ask for the type of eKit you want - even down to very specific details.
